Beyond Dreams – The Momentum of the Present
by Sylvie Olivier
Modern culture values dreams. We are encouraged to dream big, to pursue our dreams, and to build our lives around them.
It is true that dreams can open up new horizons. They inspire action and stimulate creativity.
Then a moment comes when something deeper enters our consciousness.
Expectations ease. Hopes lose their tension. Dreams cease to be a necessity.
Life then reveals another way forward.
This movement is no longer guided by a future to be attained. It arises from a vaster, calmer, clearer, and so much more joyful inner space!
When expectations dissolve, life ceases to be a projection.
It becomes an expression that resonates deep within us.
An Inner Direction
When expectations fall away, a natural direction emerges. This direction is not based on a specific goal. It feels like an inner orientation, a sense that unfolds step by step. Each step becomes a response to life as it presents itself.
Inner direction brings great simplicity. It invites us to move forward with presence and coherence, honoring what resonates authentically in the moment.
A Living Vision
Beyond dreams, a living, vibrant vision emerges. The vision is not a fixed script. It presents itself as a clear perception of what wishes to take shape through us.
It inspires action without imposing a result.
The living vision adapts, unfolds, and transforms with life. It accompanies the natural movement of Cocreation.
The Impulse of the Heart
When expectations dissolve, the impulse of the heart becomes more perceptible. This impulse arises from an inner “yes.”
Action then expresses itself as a natural manifestation of being. It unfolds with fluidity and authenticity.
Every gesture becomes an expression of life rather than a means to obtain something.
Cocreation in the Present
Life gradually ceases to be a project oriented toward the future. It becomes a cocreation in the present.
Every moment offers the opportunity to participate in what seeks to emerge. Actions take root in Presence.
Cocreation is lived in the moment, with simplicity and certainty.
An Openness to What is ready to Emerge
When expectations fade away, the inner space opens up. In this space, life reveals unexpected possibilities.
What emerges often surpasses what the mind could have imagined. Creativity becomes freer and more authentic.
Openness allows life to manifest naturally.
EXERCISE: Welcoming the impulse of the heart
Take a moment of calm.
Breathe gently and turn your attention inward.
Simply ask yourself this question:
“If no expectations were guiding my choices today, what impulse would naturally arise?”
Welcome the first answer that comes to mind.
Allow yourself to honor this impulse, even through a simple gesture.
Each step fueled by this impulse strengthens the CERTAINTY in the flow of life.
Conclusion
When expectations dissolve, life reveals a new quality of presence.
Inner guidance emerges. Vision comes alive. The impulse of the heart guides action.
Life ceases to be a future to be attained.
It becomes a fully lived experience.
Dreams belong to the future.
The impulse belongs to the present.
And when this impulse expresses itself freely, life unfolds with a depth and beauty that transcend all projections.
With Presence & Certainty,
